The Switchboard has quickly become the local art hub of Columbia and it's our goal to provide as many opportunities as possible to the local arts community. Whether you are a professional looking to make connections or fresh on the scene and looking for experiences hanging your work in a local gallery, we want to use our Open Call For Art shows to help support artists of every skill level and medium.

Open Figure Drawing
The Switchboard will be the new home to Open Figure Drawing here in Columbia on the second and 4th Thursdays of every month from 6-9PM starting February 9th.
Darren Jordan will be organizing and hosting these sessions so please direct all inquiries his way!
Artists are encouraged to bring their own art supplies and easels. Beer from the brewery downstairs always welcome.
$10 Cover
Elevator access through brewery.
For the off weeks that we don't have sessions in studio, (1st and 3rd Thursdays) artists are welcome to join Miss A at Hell in a Bucket Brewery in Wrightsville. Starting at 7PM, Bjorn Jacobsen hosts Open Mic with a very talented crew of local musicians that make for great models and quick figural sketches. The movement, speed, and music keep your brain from getting too caught up in little things.
Music and Art are developed in the same portion of the brain, it's always great to find ways to mesh the two. Get in the zone with other creatives!
See y'all very soon!
